Intent
Hello, my name is Elizabeth Blaschko, and I am the founder and owner of Magdalene Rose Healing.
My path has always been rooted in caring for others. For nearly four decades, I served in health care leadership, supporting patients, families, and clinical teams through moments that required steadiness, compassion, and clarity. Those years shaped the way I hold space today—with presence, respect, and a deep understanding of the human experience.
Over time, I felt called toward a more holistic, heart‑centered way of supporting people. That calling led me to Reiki and sound healing, and eventually to End‑of‑Life Doula work. These practices opened a new doorway: one where healing is not only physical, but emotional, energetic, and spiritual.
Magdalene Rose Healing was born from that evolution—a place where science‑informed wisdom and intuitive guidance meet. My approach is gentle and grounded, honoring the whole person and the unique journey each individual is on.
Whether I am offering Reiki, guiding a sound bath, or supporting someone through their end‑of‑life journey, my intention is always the same: to create a sanctuary where you feel seen, supported, and held with tenderness.
This work is sacred to me. It is an honor to walk beside people in moments of healing, transition, and deep inner listening.
Professional Background & Training
My work is rooted in both clinical expertise and spiritual guidance. I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation and spent the final chapter of my healthcare career as an Operations Manager at Mayo Clinic, retiring in 2025 after nearly forty years of service in patient-centered leadership.
I have been a Reiki practitioner since 2021 and am Level III certified and attuned to the Usui System of Natural Healing in accordance with the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. I also completed my End‑of‑Life Doula certificate through the International Association of Professions Career College (IAP).
In addition to my formal training and volunteer experiences in hospice, I supported and accompanied both of my parents through their hospice journeys. Those experiences deepened my understanding of the emotional, spiritual, and relational layers of end‑of‑life care and continue to shape the tenderness and presence I bring to this work.
These experiences allow me to blend evidence‑informed knowledge with intuitive, heart‑centered care, creating a healing environment that is both grounded and deeply compassionate at Magdalene Rose Healing.
The Meaning behind Magdalene Rose Healing
The name Magdalene Rose has lived in my heart since I was young. I always imagined giving this name to a future daughter—Magdalene reflecting my lifelong connection to Mary Magdalene, and Rose honoring my mother, whose name was Rose.
Mary Magdalene has long been misunderstood, yet through interpretations of her Gnostic gospel she emerges as a woman who awakened to the fullness of her soul. She embodied what many now call Christ Consciousness—a state of expanded awareness, compassion, and unity that transcends any single religion. Her teachings were not about aligning with an institution, but about living from inner truth and the remembrance of our own divine nature.
Rose carries the memory of my mother. Including her name here acknowledges her presence in my life and the lineage of women who came before us—imperfect, human, and deeply influential.
Together, Magdalene and Rose represent both spiritual devotion and personal legacy. The name reflects the heart of this practice: healing that is rooted in intention, remembrance, and the belief that awakening—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—is a sacred journey.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Reiki is a gentle, hands‑on (or hands‑off) healing modality that supports balance in the body, mind, and spirit. During a session, you are invited to rest fully while universal life‑force energy flows where it is needed most—easing tension, calming the nervous system, and restoring a sense of inner harmony.
Many clients describe Reiki as deeply soothing, grounding, and clarifying. It can support emotional release, energetic alignment, and a renewed feeling of lightness and peace.
Each session is tailored to your needs, offering a quiet sanctuary where you can soften, breathe, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
-
Sound healing uses therapeutic frequencies—often from crystal singing bowls and other resonant instruments—to guide the body into a state of deep relaxation. These vibrations help quiet the mind, release stress, and support energetic clearing.
During a sound bath, you simply lie back and allow waves of sound to wash over you. The experience is immersive, meditative, and profoundly restorative.
Sound baths are especially supportive for:
stress and anxiety
emotional overwhelm
sleep challenges
grounding and centering
energetic reset
This is a beautiful offering on its own or combined with Reiki for a layered, holistic healing experience.

End‑of‑life doula care provides compassionate, heart‑centered support for individuals and families navigating the end‑of‑life journey. This work honors the sacredness of transition and the dignity of each person’s unique path.
As a doula, I offer presence, guidance, and steadiness—helping clients and loved ones feel supported, informed, and held during a tender time. My role is not only to support someone in dying, but also to support them in living—finding comfort, meaning, connection, and peace in the time they have.
Services may include assistance with Advanced Care Directives, emotional support, legacy work, comfort measures, vigil planning, and helping families create meaningful rituals or moments of connection.
Death doulas are not “obsessed with death.” They are deeply in love with life. End‑of‑life doulas are so in love with life that they hope to bring comfort and peace to the very last seconds of every person’s time in this world. This perspective guides my work—a devotion to honoring life, even in its final transition, with gentleness, reverence, and compassion.
My approach blends my 37 years in health care leadership with a deeply intuitive, spiritual foundation. I walk beside you with respect for your dignity and comfort.
