Frequently Asked Questions

  • Reiki is a gentle, hands‑on (or hands‑off) healing modality that supports balance in the body, mind, and spirit. During a session, you are invited to rest fully while universal life‑force energy flows where it is needed most—easing tension, calming the nervous system, and restoring a sense of inner harmony.

Many clients describe Reiki as deeply soothing, grounding, and clarifying. It can support emotional release, energetic alignment, and a renewed feeling of lightness and peace.

Each session is tailored to your needs, offering a quiet sanctuary where you can soften, breathe, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.

  • Sound healing uses therapeutic frequencies—often from crystal singing bowls and other resonant instruments—to guide the body into a state of deep relaxation. These vibrations help quiet the mind, release stress, and support energetic clearing.

During a sound bath, you simply lie back and allow waves of sound to wash over you. The experience is immersive, meditative, and profoundly restorative.

Sound baths are especially supportive for:

    • stress and anxiety

    • emotional overwhelm

    • sleep challenges

    • grounding and centering

    • energetic reset

This is a beautiful offering on its own or combined with Reiki for a layered, holistic healing experience.

  • End‑of‑life doula care provides compassionate, heart‑centered support for individuals and families navigating the end‑of‑life journey. This work honors the sacredness of transition and the dignity of each person’s unique path.

As a doula, I offer presence, guidance, and steadiness—helping clients and loved ones feel supported, informed, and held during a tender time. My role is not only to support someone in dying, but also to support them in living—finding comfort, meaning, connection, and peace in the time they have.

Services may include assistance with Advanced Care Directives, emotional support, legacy work, comfort measures, vigil planning, and helping families create meaningful rituals or moments of connection.

Death doulas are not “obsessed with death.” They are deeply in love with life. End‑of‑life doulas are so in love with life that they hope to bring comfort and peace to the very last seconds of every person’s time in this world. This perspective guides my work—a devotion to honoring life, even in its final transition, with gentleness, reverence, and compassion.

My approach blends my 37 years in health care leadership with a deeply intuitive, spiritual foundation. I walk beside you with respect for your dignity and comfort.

This process brings clarity, empowerment, and peace for everyone involved.

  • Families often need reassurance, clarity, and a gentle anchor. I support loved ones by:

    • offering education about the dying process

    • providing emotional support and space for their feelings

    • guiding them in ways to connect meaningfully with their loved one

    • helping coordinate rituals, moments of reflection, or legacy activities

    • offering respite so caregivers can rest

My presence is steady, non‑judgmental, and grounded in compassion.

    • preferred music, lighting, or scents

    • meaningful readings, prayers, or silence

    • who the person wants present

    • rituals or traditions important to them

    • comfort measures for both the individual and family

The plan is always shaped by the person’s beliefs, values, and wishes.

  • At Magdalene Rose Healing, my mission is to create a sanctuary of tenderness, presence, and peace—where each person is honored as whole, worthy, and deeply loved.

My philosophy is rooted in three pillars:

    • Compassion: Healing and end‑of‑life care are sacred spaces. I meet each moment with gentleness, empathy, and an open heart.

    • Presence: True support is not about fixing; it is about being with. I offer steady, grounded presence so you never feel alone in your journey.

Whether through Reiki, sound healing, or end‑of‑life doula care, my intention is to honor your path, your timing, and your truth.
